Our mission at Skin.Restored is more than just skin deep. Our goal is to create and nurture a positive community built around inclusivity and to create a safe place for our patients to feel welcomed and accepted for all that they are and can be. We want to do this by redefining what it means to be beautiful and embrace the things that make us unique and one of a kind.
We believe in the fact that beauty does not mean perfection; it means celebrating what makes you unique. At Skin.Restored, we encourage all of our patients to step into their individuality and to promote self-acceptance, regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, race, cultural background, physical or mental ability. A Note From Our Founder, Jagmit “Preeti” Kaur
Welcome! Behind every business is a story, and I would like to share a little bit of mine with you. As a young girl with big dreams, I immigrated here to the United States. Born in Punjab, India, I came here wanting to build a better life, and I worked as hard as possible to achieve those dreams.
I have always had a passion for wanting to help others feel beautiful inside and out. This led me to pursue a career in Nursing and Medical Aesthetics. In 2011, as a newly minted Registered Nurse, I had the chance to serve my own community in Fresno, CA. In 2016, I furthered my education by becoming a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. It gave me the opportunity to serve as a women's health care provider, and I focused on teaching others about the importance of physical and mental health.
Now, as a Nurse Practitioner and a business owner, I am incredibly blessed to be able to be in a position where I can help others feel beautiful and embrace the things that make them unique. My identity as a South Asian woman of color is an important part of who I am, and this has allowed me to build positive relationships and connections with patients and everyone around me. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to navigate skin-related issues, and I want to reassure you that I genuinely understand. And that is what makes us different here at Skin.Restored: that we can relate to your skincare needs because of our own experiences.
From being a young girl with big dreams, I can proudly say that I've been able to make these dreams come into reality, and I’m excited to share this journey with you.
